We were delighted to discover that we’d booked a room with 2 queen sized beds and an enormous terrace overlooking the pool. The room was so spacious with loads of storage and enough towels for a family of 4 plus the classic Peter Thomas Roth toiletries, bathrobes and pillow menu.
Around the hotel
There were loads of areas around the hotel for you to sit and enjoy the view with a coffee. I particularly liked the Vista Terrace which offered great views over the pool and the sea beyond.
One of my favourite aspects of the hotel was that people were dignified in claiming their sun loungers. The guests weren’t getting up at the crack of dawn to put towels down to claim their bed, instead, they were going to the pool when they were ready to sit outside. At 9am the pool was still towel and people free.
The main pool was great for families but even better for me, there was an adults only pool where you could have some peace and quiet. It was the best discovery that I’ve ever made during the UK half term holidays.
There was a vast selection of food including all your breakfast favourites. Freshly baked bread, an egg station, waffle station, fresh fruits and a variety of local pastries. Best of all was the view from the outside terrace. I loved getting to the table when the restaurant opened at 7am so that I could enjoy watching the sun rise.
There are a number of drinking and dining options at Hilton Malta including The Blue Elephant Restaurant serving Thai cuisine. There is also the Living Well Health Club providing gym and spa facilities.
I enjoyed my 5 night stay at Hilton Malta. The hotel had a relaxed feel to it and would be suitable for a business stay as well as for leisure. If you are interested in visiting Malta then please check out my other post Highlights of Malta: St Julian’s, Sliema, Valletta & Mdina.
My stay at Hilton Malta was at my own cost, it was not a sponsored stay. All photos and opinions expressed are my own.
